Last October 3 – 7, SYKES joined thousands of organizations worldwide to celebrate the annual Customer Service Week. The Customer Service Week, or CS Week as people in the industry call it, is a weeklong international gathering that honors the unparalleled dedication of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis*. As one of the many companies that pride itself on providing support to customers, SYKES held a CS Week Caravan that went around all of its sites throughout the week to treat its Service Champions to free food, exclusive merchandise, and a whole lot of festivity.
In each site, thousands of SYKESers lined up to get their freebies and enjoy a night of fun and camaraderie. Each employee received free snacks, free drink and anexclusive SYKES drawstring bag.
SYKES employees who follow and like the official social media pages of the company also got to play a pick-a-prize game for a chance of going home with additional SYKES merchandise and to join the raffle where they can win Php5,000.
“It was a really fun experience. I could definitely feel how important we are to the company,” said Jen, one of SYKES’ customer service representatives.
To get everyone into the CS Week mood , SYKES also distributed appreciation cards to employees and asked them to award their personal “Service Champions”. These cards served as medals for the employees’ peers, colleagues, managers, and team mates, who embody SYKES’ purpose of “helping people, one caring interaction at a time”.
