Jim Farnsworth joined Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated in 2016 and is currently Executive Vice President – Americas Business Development. In this role, he directs a globally dispersed team that provides a range of SYKES solutions that enhance the relationship between companies and their customers, including marketing, customer acquisition, care and automation.
Jim has more than 20 years of experience with innovation, service and leadership for large-scale businesses and their customers, and clients range from small businesses to Fortune 2000® companies around the world. He has developed complex customer solutions for some of the world’s leading brands. Prior to joining SYKES, Jim worked across the services space as co-founder of his own consulting and professional services company — virtualwirks — and as an executive with Alpine Access, a company SYKES acquired in 2012. He has served in various senior roles with Teleperformance, TTEC and MCI Telecommunications. A native New Mexican, Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations and business from the University of New Mexico.
