Eileen M. Canady brings 25 years of professional experience to SYKES Enterprises, Incorporated in her role as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing. Her in-depth knowledge of both domestic and international markets gives her a unique skill set and creative vision to lead the Global Marketing organization and to help foster the growing demand for SYKES’ solutions globally. During her career, Eileen has built a reputation as a strong leader with innovative marketing expertise, which has helped position SYKES as an industry thought leader within the intelligent customer experience space.
Eileen’s Global Marketing department is responsible for market research, competitive analysis, customer personas, full-campaign strategies, go-to-market planning, brand guidelines, demand and lead generation, content and creative development, public and analyst relations, internal and external communications, content distribution, content tracking and measurement, and social media presence. Eileen’s strategic marketing initiatives drive sales, resulting in brand awareness, consideration and conversion.
Before SYKES, Eileen served as the Vice President of Strategic Development and Marketing at JHS Capital Advisors. She played a key role in implementing a development strategy that increased the company’s brand presence and recognition as a leader in the industry. Eileen strengthened marketing communications by creating an in-house studio to showcase the brand via multimedia platforms. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in English with business and technical writing from the University of Delaware and an MBA in finance and marketing from the University of Tampa, Eileen held various critical roles within the marketing industry, including Senior Market Research Analyst, Program Director and owner of a consulting firm. In addition, Eileen is certified in both Strategic and Conceptual Selling from the Miller Heiman Group and has trained many sales teams throughout her career.
Eileen gives back in the Tampa Bay area through various philanthropic and educational endeavors. She’s a proud member of Crisis Center of Tampa Bay’s Women in Action, serves on the USF Digital Advisory Board, is part of the American Heart Association Go Red for Women cabinet, is an avid contributor on the prestigious Forbes Communication Council and mentors youth through the Positive Coaching Alliance. Tampa Bay Business Journal named Eileen as a finalist for the publication’s “Woman of the Year” award in 2017 and she won a Silver Stevie for Marketing Executive of the Year from the 2018 Stevie’s International Business Awards.
