JOB OPENING FOR HOME OFFICE
At SYKESHome we offer full-time and part-time work schedules. You can choose to work 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 hours. Split shifts are also possible. For example, you can work for a few hours in the morning and finish your shift in the evening after a break. We adapt to your needs because we believe that only satisfied employees can do valuable work.
We pay our SYKESHome team a monthly allowance for internet and electricity costs.
From 20 to 40 hours a week (almost) everything is possible – including split shifts.

REQUIREMENTS FOR WORKING FROM HOME
A home office job adapts perfectly to your everyday life and is therefore very well suited, for example, for an optimum family – work or study – balance. All you need is to meet a few technical requirements. These are:
- A wired broadband connection (DSL, VDSL or cable)
- An internet speed of at least 16 Mbit/s downstream and 3 Mbit/s upstream
- A direct connection of your computer via LAN cable to the network router without using other active components such as a DLAN adapter or Ethernet switch. Your router should support NAT (Network Address Translation), have a firewall component and only be connected to IPv4 in your home network
- A separate room in the house where you can work undisturbed.

THE TRUTH ABOUT WORKING FROM HOME
There are many rumors and prejudices about working from home.
At SYKESHome we have more than 20 years of experience in this area and would therefore like to comment on some of the common statements about working remotely.
The questions related to the process of recruitment
Since our applicants come from all over Germany, we have completely digitized our application process. You can conveniently apply from home. After receiving your application, we will arrange an introductory meeting with you, in which we will answer all your open questions. We will then make an appointment for a virtual interview via video calling. If the interview goes well, we will agree on the terms and send you the contract documents.
You will receive the necessary technical equipment from us. All you have to do is to make sure you have a suitable wired broadband connection that at least has a speed of 16 Mbit/s downstream and 3 Mbit/s upstream. Your router should also support NAT (Network Address Translation), have a firewall component and an IPv4 address. Please also ensure that you connect your PC directly (via LAN cable) to the network router and that you do not use any other active components such as DLAN adapters or Ethernet switch.
Of course, we also prepare you optimally for your future job at home. You will receive a comprehensive training from your future colleagues. This training is an online training and will only take place virtually. Our trained online instructors are there to support you during the entire training and answer all your questions.
SYKESHome only works with reputable and large clients. We take care of technical or commercial inquiries from customers and only carry out inbound calls. This means that our clients’ customers will call you on a specific matter.
You will receive comprehensive support working from home. Your contact persons are available to you by phone, email or chat and always give you the support you need.
SYKES pays you a fixed monthly salary, regardless of how many hours you worked in a month or how many conversations you had. So you know exactly what amount you can count on at the end of the month. In addition, you may receive bonus payments or commissions.
You get a 12-month employment contract and enjoy all the advantages thereof. We are very interested in making long-term commitments, so there is rarely anything to prevent an extension of the contract after the initial 12 month period.
