Jim Farnsworth joined SYKES Enterprises, Incorporated in 2016 and is currently the executive vice president of Americas Business Development. In his role, Jim directs a globally dispersed team tasked with providing a range of individual SYKES solutions capable of enhancing the relationships between companies and their customers through marketing, customer acquisition, care, and the continuous implementation of automation services. Jim previously worked in multiple executive-level leadership positions with other dynamic brands and has always served as a leader to create positive examples by setting clear expectations, by “helping people understand that what they do matters.”
Jim has more than 20 years of experience leading innovative teams and projects for large-scale businesses and their customers, and his clients have ranged from small businesses to Fortune 2000® companies from all over the world. Throughout his impressive history with multiple dynamic brands, Jim has developed complex customer solutions for some of the world’s top companies.
Prior to joining the SYKES family, Jim worked in the services space as the co-founder of his own consulting and professional services company — Virtualwirks — and as an executive with Alpine Access, which SYKES acquired in 2012. Additionally, over the course of his career Jim has served in various senior roles with Teleperformance, TTEC, and MCI Telecommunications.
A native New Mexican now living in Colorado, Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Business from the University of New Mexico.
