SYKES EMEA Named Finalist in 8 Categories at 2020 ECCCSA Awards

SYKES EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) is thrilled to announce that it has been named a finalist in eight categories at the upcoming 2020 European Contact Centre & Customer Service (ECCCSA) Awards. The ceremony, which takes place in March 2021, recognizes leading businesses and their efforts to deliver exceptional customer service experiences. While the competition is robust — now in its 20th year, the ECCCSA is considering organizations in more than 20 countries — SYKES EMEA is confident that it will be adding to its trophy display.

The ECCCSA, which prides itself on being the longest-running and largest awards program in the customer support industry, determines honorees based on their focus for continual innovation, strive for efficiency, and, above all, value for their people. According to the ECCCSA’s website, the judges look for specific evidence in making their determinations, including whether the customer experience improvement was incremental or transformational, whether it positively affected the daily roles of front-line advisors, and whether it led to more effective or efficient operations. SYKES EMEA is tasked with presenting this evidence and more as they look to bring home gold in the following categories:

  • Most Effective Application of Technology
  • Responding in a Crisis — Best Partnership Solution
  • Most Effective Improvement Programme
  • Best Outsourcing Partnership (Small)
  • Best Outsourcing Partnership (Large)
  • Most Effective Homeworking Programme
  • Best Contact Centre Support Team
  • Best Pan-European Contact Centre

Since 1995, SYKES sites in the EMEA region have served some of the world’s top technology, financial services, healthcare, retail, and communications industry leaders, providing customer service, social media, technical support, back office, and sales solutions. In that time, SYKES have earned many local and regional client, industry, and sustainability awards. But in a year like 2020, the ECCCSA awards are more meaningful than ever.

The COVID-19 pandemic has taken a toll on the customer service industry. Like nearly everyone else, SYKES was forced to pivot when the novel coronavirus spread to locations around the world. Fortunately, we are pioneers in work-at-home and business continuity/disaster recovery solutions and were able to respond quickly and safely, without sacrificing quality. So to be nominated for Most Effective Homeworking Programme and Responding in a Crisis — Best Partnership Solution in a year like 2020 is an incredible honor.

When the winners of the 2020 ECCCSA awards are announced in March, SYKES EMEA will proudly represent our global workforce and clearly exhibit our values and purpose.

Congratulations to our teams in EMEA, our brand partners, and everyone involved in these recognitions from the ECCCSA, and best of luck in March!
