SYKES Colombia: Bronze, Best Internal Operation Category

SYKES Colombia has won the Bronze National Award of Excellence in the Best Internal Operation category (in-house) at the 2019 Congreso Andino de Contact Centers y CRM CXSummit. Noted in the award was SYKES Colombia’s stellar regional first-call resolution (FCR) rates supporting several SYKES LATAM support centers, including Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and El Salvador.

Additionally, SYKES Colombia’s innovative use of digital applications to enrich employees and spearhead productivity has served as an exemplary model in the industry. The Best Internal Operation (in-house) award also honored the SYKES Colombia team for creating an intuitive, internal web application to create a more fulfilling experience for employees. Through gamification, the application promotes social interaction, internal communication, and progressive development via healthy competition. Essentially, the app turns certain aspects of the SYKES employee experience into a game, with points and scores to make work more engaging — and fun!

Through their creative thinking and strong resource management, SYKES Colombia has been a valuable asset to SYKES LATAM and has shown that they embody SYKES’ commitment to helping, serving, and creating outstanding experiences for customers and employees alike, one caring interaction at a time.

“We won this prize by demonstrating an effective and efficient use of resources to address a regional requirement,” said one member of the SYKES Colombia team, discussing the successes that led to the landmark award. “It was about creating a team of people to provide remote technical support via one central point of contact.”

This National Award of Excellence is given each year to companies from all corners of the economy whose initiatives best demonstrate growth and success in service and client-company relationships. Previously, SYKES received the Silver Award for Best Technological Contribution at the 2018 Congreso Andino de Contact Centers y CRM CXSummit.
