Founded with an
entrepreneurial spirit

Co-founders Laurent Uberti and Olivier Camino founded what is known today as Foundever in 1994 out of their small apartment while attending SKEMA Business School in Nice, France. In their first professional endeavor, they started what eventually became Groupe Acticall, one of France’s largest customer relationship management companies.

Grounded in proven expertise

Sitel started as a subsidiary of United Technologies before being bought in 1985. Based in Omaha, Sitel grew quickly and became the first telemarketing organization to go public in 1995. Sitel expanded internationally in the 1990s and 2000s and merged with Nashville-based ClientLogic in 2007.

Growing organically
and through acquisition

In 2015, Groupe Acticall agreed to acquire Sitel and in 2016, the newly created Sitel Group successfully combined the DNA of both companies: the 30+ years of experience and global footprint of Sitel with the entrepreneurial mindset and digital vision of Groupe Acticall – all backed by long-term shareholders, Creadev.

Focusing on the employee experience

In 2019, Sitel Group launched My Associate Experience (MAX), setting the tone in the industry for an enhanced focus on the employee experience. MAX is a concrete commitment to improving the employee experience through digital and social collaborations with the people – especially the frontline agents – of the company.

Becoming a leading global player

In 2021, Sitel Group acquired Tampa-based Sykes Enterprises, Inc., an American multinational BPO provider founded in 1977. This acquisition elevated the company’s influence as a top 3 global CX leader, establishing a gap in excess of $2 billion between them and second-tier players in the industry.

Earning numerous global recognitions

In 2022, the newly combined Sitel Group was named a Global Leader in the ISG Provider Lens Contact Center – Customer Experience Services reports for the third consecutive year and a Leader in the Americas and EMEA in the Everest Group PEAK Matrix. Further, the group won a Gold Stevie® Award in the Employer of the Year category for Business & Professional Services.
